Our Commitment to Sustainability

Tati Solar aims to provide access to clean, green, and affordable electricity in line with the global green economy transition, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. The Project will directly contribute to the Paris Agreement as well as United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7, 8 and 13.

Regardless, we acknowledge that large infrastructure projects can pose environmental and social risks. We are dedicated to environmentally sustainable, socially responsible, and ethical operations that positively contribute to local communities and ecosystems in line with local regulations and international standards (IFC, AfDB, EIB).

Environmental & Social Impact Assessments

In line with local regulations and international standards (IFC, AfDB, EIB), Tati Solar has undertaken several studies to mitigate and manage E&S risks including but not limited to the following:

  • Environmental Management Plan (EMP)

  • Critical Habitat Assessment

  • Avifaunal Impact Assessment

  • Livelihoods Impact Risk Assessment

  • Human Rights Risk Screening

  • Climate Change Risk Assessment

  • Archaeological Impact Assessment

  • Hydrological Assessment Study
